Foodbank
The Salvation Army Foodbank Centre in Maidstone have asked us to pass on their very sincere thanks for all the food, toiletries and other essentials that folk from this benefice have donated over the past year. They are extremely grateful and have said that without our generosity they would struggle to be able to help all those who come to them in need.
However, they continue to need our help and would be very grateful for donations of the following items: Tinned meat, pasta, tinned fruit/ veg/ beans, rice, pasta sauce, long-life milk, apple/ orange juice cartons, crisps, cereal/ cereal bars, toilet rolls, jams and spreads, tin openers, toiletries – toothpaste, soap, male/female deodorants, shampoo, conditioners (no razors)
Donations may be bought to any of the Benefice churches on a Sunday or left in the box at Headcorn Church throughout the week.
Thank you
Headcorn Christmas Trees

We are a group of four churches serving the villages of Headcorn, East Sutton, Chart Sutton & Sutton Valence in the Diocese of Canterbury. You can find us between Maidstone and Ashford with the Suttons running along the stunning Greensand Way and Headcorn nestling in the very picturesque Weald of Kent.
Although each church has its own unique identity, we endeavour to support each other in all we do and we enjoy coming together for special events and services. We not only share a vicar but also the same Mission Statement “Following Christ together” which we seek to put into practise in a variety of different ways.
We also take our responsibilities as custodians of our historic and pretty churches very seriously and we love to show them off to visitors. Both Headcorn & Sutton Valence are open every day throughout the year during daylight hours, while East Sutton and Chart Sutton are open to casual visitors on the first Saturday of the month from late spring until early autumn – however we are always willing to open up at other times by prior arrangement.
We are currently in a Vacancy. This means we are without a Vicar. If you have any enquiries regarding Weddings, Christenings or Funerals please contact the secretary at the email address below or call on the number below.
We hope that you will find this website helpful. Please feel free to contact our Benefice Adminstrator on the below email addresses if you require any help or information on any of our four churches.
